My journey at the piano began at the age of 14 in Huntington, West Virginia, when our church pianist, (who was an original member of the Perry Sisters), went into the ministry full-time. I assumed the position and remained as the church pianist until I was 19.
My career in gospel music began with Sonny Sights and the Marksmen Quartet at the historical Paramount Arts Theater in Ashland, Kentucky. A few years later I met the Down East Boys; where I remained until 1989.
After coming off the road, I pursued my career as a professional firefighter and raised our family with my wife Monica to whom I’ve been married to for 25 years. We are blessed with two sons Michael 24 and Ryan 18. We can’t forget our cat Precious and our cocker spaniel Tevin.
I continued to help and play with local and regional groups to stay fluent at the piano and 19 years later… God blessed with the opportunity to pick up where I left off with this great ministry of Providence Quartet.
I’m looking forward to seeing what God has in store and I thank him for the gifts he blessed me with.
