Although I now live in Powdersville, SC, Travelers Rest is still home. That’s where I grew up and my love of the Gospel began. God has blessed me with many talents since he saved me at the age of 7 (I’m braggin’ on God – not me), but I never thought singing tenor was one of them. In all the groups I have sung with before, I was a baritone; I’m glad I finally found my place! When I do manage to find a moment at home, I enjoy spending time on the back porch swing with Faye looking out over the beautiful view that God has given us. Sometimes I even get a chance to play with my ham radio gear or knock the dust off one of my guitars. It is a great privilege to sing with the guys every week and share God’s good news of salvation for all. We all have unbelievable support from all of our families and church families, and I am so thankful. There are lots of folks praying for us, and it shows as the blessings keep pouring in. I always look forward to the next opportunity we have to meet new folks or see old friends.
